How to uninstall a app which shows "app not found in the list of installed apps"?

I tried a instant app from google play services application but it downloaded the app and the app is only seen in settings--- storage. when I click on uninstall, it shows that the app is not found in the list of installed apps. Please help me to uninstall it

Instant apps probably save to a temporary file. Not sure how you can delete it

Welcome to Android Central! Do you see it in Settings>Apps, as well?

If you go to that app's page in the Play Store, what options do you see?

I had the same issue as well with the call of duty instant play app. When I try to uninstall, it says "App not Found".

I resolve this by going to it's page in Google Play Store where it says "Try Now". I pressed install and waited for a couple of seconds for it to start downloading. After, I pressed cancel and went to check in my app list and it wasn't there anymore.

Hope this help everyone who has this problem.
