How to uninstall sofware update?

I accidentally click software update and downloaded it.
But i don't want to continue installing this update.
How can i uninstall?

What phone? what software update? did it actually install or did it only download? Is there a particular reason you don't want the update to install?

to uninstall software update you will have to do a rollback/reset all software updates are permanent. if you uninstall it using a third party app it will corrupt the OS and cause the phone to be unusable. the best thing to do is to reset the phone.

If the update is already installed, resetting the phone or device will do no good. Installed updates persist, even through a factory reset.

If the update didn't install yet, it's likely being held in system cache partition. Reboot your phone into recovery and clear/wipe the cache partition. Since you didn't mention what device you have, search Google for how to get into recovery for you device.

A lot of updates are persistent to where your phone will continue to check for/download updates unless you disable auto-update in settings.
