How to unlock a rooted S3 Mini

Hi there, I have recently rooted my phone as I want to switch to another network. However I can't seem to find an app to get the unlock code that works on a S3 mini. Does anyone know an app or another way of doing it for free? Thanks

You should contact your carrier service that the phone was purchased and used with and obtain the code from them. We don't encourage the use of 3rd party unlocking services and other means.

But what does that mean if you have already switched your network, and they won't allow you to get that code.
