Android Central Question
I have service thru Qlink Wireless. The phone is a ZTE Quest Plus. I went to security on my setting s and seen sim card lock and clicked on it. Then clicked yes to set it up and put in the code i wanted which it then said was wrong and locked me out. Now it is asking for a PUK code. when I called Qlink I was on there for an hour then got cut off and after 2 more times of calling and a total of 4 hours later, They tell me they don't have the puk code to unlock it. That my phone was useless and that I would have to pay a 25 dollar replacement fee for them to send me a new phone. I then said I wasn't going to pay the fee because I wasn't informed that I couldn't set up a sim card lock on my phone and that they should tell their customers about it. I then said, "I guess that is how your company makes it's money by being dishonest." I really don't want to have to buy a new phone, but if I can't get this fixed then I will buy a new phone and have a new service provider as well. I would refer Qlink Wireless to anyone else.
