How to unroot my note 3 completely

Have a note 3 at the moment using it as spare phone. Has been rooted at some point and now had a factory reset. Also installed new firmware but apps still detect rooted while root check apps say not rooted :S any help?

If you flashed a new ROM it shouldn't be rooted. See if a file manager can find the file su in either /system/bin or /system/xbin. of the file isn't there, the phone isn't rooted. If it's there, delete it, then restart the phone.
