how to unroot with broken usb

my usb port went bad on me and i can charge but it wont read as a disc drive when hooked up to a computer. i asked for a replacement phone and i need to send this one back. any way i can unroot without hooking it up to a computer?

btw yes i did search and i couldnt find anything

it depends on witch method you used to root.
 
Have you tried another usb cable because if the device charges from connection it usually a cable causing issue...

if you want to unroot you should be able to do it by coping the 2.11.605.5 RUU from New HTC Thunderbolt 2.11.605.5 RUU Released, Fixes Major Bugs From the Last Update ? Droid Life: A Droid Community Blog and boot into recovery and install this.
that will work as long as you did not root using revolutionary because that has a protected bootloader and can not be unrooted with out the command promptt
 
ok it seems that i have rooted with revolutionary. now what? i cant hook up the phone to the laptop . now what. will doing a factory reset help?
 
No it wont take root away, you need to be able to connect to a pc
