How to update a pre-installed Amazon App Store App

I have had this problem and want to share how I resolved it.

Somehow Amazon has re-registered my phone 50 times. You can only have 50 devices registered, otherwise downloading amazon app store will not work properly.
Goto https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/mas/your-account/myapps and click on 'Your devices' to the left. Then delete them all (It's temporary, don't worry about doing this - you can add devices again).

I had to then delete any amazon type of apps on my phone, delete the cache and disable them.

Now I could download the amazon app store from https://www.amazon.co.uk/underground on my phone.
Then install it and login.

I simply hope to help people who are having trouble trying to install amazon app store or re-install it.

Welcome to Android Central! Thanks for that tip! Does this also happen when checking for updates to the Amazon (or Amazon Underground) app from within its own menu? That's how I usually update it.
