Trust me this questions is not as stupid as the tittle suggest.
I have the Mate 9 Pro model LON-L29 running build LON-L29C636B124 with android version 7.0 / EMUI 5.0.
It looks like it should be running EMUI 5.1 not to mention the Android security patch level is Nov 1 2016!
The system update in system update, Huawei ID, Hicare and Hisuite all say I have the latest version..? This phone has literally NEVER gotten an update. I live in the USA and have AT&T. I have never had any other issue with the phone.
I have reached out to Huawei support 3 times today. Once to the USA branch Once to the Chinese branch which is where the USA branch sent me but the Chinese branch did not speak English so then I went to the online chat and allegedly I have some documents on the way to help me but I cant find jack. Does anybody know how I can fix this. Honestly about to just pre-order a Mate 10 Pro.
