How uninstall Touchwiz Swype and install regular swype

For some reason the swype that comes with Touchwiz is crap and not working nearly as well as regular swype was on this Tab (prior to Touchwiz update) but I'm unable to uninstall it so I can install the new swype beta. Anyone know how to do this?

You'll have to be rooted to uninstall system apps such as Swype

Thanks. I thought the Tab 10.1 wasn't rootable, is this not correct? How would I root it?
