How useful is the S-Pen for text manipulation and copying & pasting?

Hey, All,

I'm thinking about going from my Pixel 2XL to a Note 8 or 9.

I do a lot of text manipulation (copying, pasting, image markup, etc), and I was wondering If the S-Pen helps with those processes?

I would assume that the S Pen has features that makes those processes much easier and more fluid with the button, pop-up actions, etc, but I just wanted to be sure.....

I find it incredibly helpful when selecting text for a copy and past. My finger just can't get between the text with the precision of the s pen.

The s pen helps with all kinds of precion work on my phone. The built in gallery app has an image editor that I use the s pen in all the time.

For me the s-pen is more useful when you need to copy/paste text from an image.
My finger works fine just copying from any other source.

You will also find some text that can't be selected with a long finger press. However, if you use the spen and press the button, you will be able to copy/paste.

When you switch to note series, you will understand how android can be more powerful than being stock.
