How water resistant are these phones?

I was using my phone's screen to find my way in the dark and i ended up holding my phone in front of our cold air humidifier for a few seconds. Would that be enough for moisture to enter the phone and cause damage?

After posting this I spoke to my friend that has a galaxy s4. He apparently leaves his phone on the bathroom counter while he showers and has had no ill effects.

Water on the screen or backside wont harm it unless water goes straight into the ports then 50 50 chance there will be an issue

I was concerned because the mist may have been hitting the ear piece up top.

You should download a flashlight app. It'll activate your camera flash so you can see that way. Your phone would also be less exposed to taking in moisture. Not to mention it would also be brighter.

There's a flashlight app included with the AT&T version.
