Howdy! New to forum

Just joined today, although I've owned my Galaxy phone for a while. I'm an 80 year old geezer, but still pretty sharp. My phone is: Samsung Galaxy 14A 5G.
The only issue is: I need to use speaker in order to make my voice heard by the calling party. So, the mic isn't working unless speaker is engaged. I could never figure out how to fix the issue. Even so, I still like the phone.
