Hi i am Poorboy52760 I live in Iowa and am new to both android and the forums, i got my first android on a budget its nothing fancy but works well. its a Samsung Galaxy Precedent from straight talk which i have already rooted myself thanks to some amazing ppl on the ac forums. I hope that someone comes up with a Gingerbread rom for it soon as Froyo's graphics leave alot to be desired compaired to my girlfriends Droid X with gingerbread on it, ok so i know a little about android phones, i been dabbling in technology for many years, i build computers and design websites. which i am pretty good at both, so android and some of its technology is not foreign to me at all.. I am here looking for stuff that will make my droid powered phone more fun and so far i have found alot of useful information..

Welcome to Android Central. Gingerbread you like? You may or may not see GB on your device immediately but I'm sure there will be some themes floating around imitating the GB look and feel which might help hold you over until then.

unfortunately there is not a section geared specifically for my phone, its for the prevail for boost which in most aspects are the same phone except for the carrier...

well you will run into that problem here on AC. If there was a forum for every phone on every carrier running android, there would be thousands more forums. Sorry to see that your phone doesn't have its own forum but I hope you enjoy your time here
