You might be alone on this one. I haven't noticed Wallet taking any battery life at all. Try rebooting your phone or going into Accounts and Sync in the settings and then turn off "Sync Wallet".

weird...I went there to do as you suggested, and "Wallet" was not an option. I had cleared data and forced closed the application, then rebooted the phone though.
the battery monitor is now showing that Wallet is down to 44% of battery use. so that is a start I guess. what else could be up with my phone and only one other guys'?

yeah, but the data clear probably wiped that. I'll let this run for a while and see if the usage stats change for the better now!
No battery issues here. Checked battery usage and wallet wasn't even listed. I went to a 7-11 just to use wallet, very cool! And my first purchase was on Google!
Just to add my battery usage doesn't even show Wallet,,, I've used it 3 times in the past 20 minutes
Just wondering, have those who are seeing this crazy usage setup their Google Wallet yet?
Trying to figure out what could be the issue. Poke around in its settings and let us know.
Google Wallet is in the 80% range for use and I haven't even used it. So it's doing it to me, as well. Force closing it hasn't helped. I might remove it.
Also, I've noted that my comcast email account has all my emails missing and they don't stay around. I have no emails listed in that account. This started the time after the Google Wallet update that came OTA to my phone. I've sent an email from my gmail account and I receive it. I'll check to see if it stays around. I do have 'don't delete from server' checked. If I tap on 'load more messages' nothing comes up.?. Hmmmm. Okay, might have found it. I also reformatted my computer (like to keep it pristine clean). Found that Outlook's default setting is 'delete messages from server'. That's got to be it.

Ever since the update, I can't get landscape mode on the browser, email,just about everything. I do have auto rotate on and it doesn't work on none of my apps
I was also about 80% battery use from google wallet. I'm curious: do you have NFC turned on? mine was off when the battery usage was way up there. Turned it on, and haven't seen the issue again. I'm not really sure if the toggling of NFC was the fix though.
Having major battery issue also, Wallet taking 50% of battery usage and I keep turnig it off! Aslo, maybe just me but..... Folder Organiszer, had to redo the whole thing, everything went away.... Ringtones I had set for people reverted to default ringer and I can not find a way to reset them???? Any ideas??? :-!
I manually updated. Speeds seem slower, and I think my bars are down (from 2 at work solid to 1-2 rapidly changing)

Wow. Sorry to hear that. My speeds are incredibly improved in some areas. A spot where I previously would get 3mbps down is now getting 8.

I sense we will see an update for Google wallet that will help this. Have you activated wallet? And did you uncheck sync wallet within your Google account settings within settings?

Since the update I have a more stable signal in areas I wouldn't have before. Just find it weird that google wallet doesn't show up in the app store so I can't set it up for automatic updates

I don't own a nexus s (rooted EVO 4g) but I just bought my wife one Monday. It was 2.3.4 stock and 20 mins ago she got a update notice for 2.3.5 and 5 mins later (if that long) she got update notice for 2.3.7. She likes the look of "wallet" as Google is listing it lol. My question is what are other improvements that come with update?
