Hey all,
I've got a Galaxy S5 SM-G900F running Kitkat 4.4.2, which is a little buggy, and I'm thinking of updating to Lollipop 5.0. How's the update treating you? The battery life? Overall system stability? I'd like to hear your thoughts!

Wild horses would not drag me back to the old KitKat firmware!

Great battery life, (see screenshot), and great performance plus latest security updates.

It was extremely rough at first, but that was mainly because of the initial buggy builds from Verizon. Since then it has been stabilized and I'm happy with it now. Verizon is still on 5.0 as well, so hopefully I have 5.1 or 5.1.1 to look forward to in the near future.

Curious why you think it sucks so bad BR34KF4ST?

Looks like you're heading towards 4.5 hours SOT, which is pretty good. What setup do you have on, and what kind of usage?

As per my signature, I have the latest stock U.K. unbranded Samsung firmware, OH4, with no power saving enabled.

Follow ons from post #3...

Seems good, but is it better than on Kitkat? And is it 5.0 or 5.1 you're on?
