I'm an archaeologist and I use my phone outside all the time. The Note 3's screen brightness outside left a lot to be desired. I have no problems seeing the screen on the LG G3 outside.
No problems with outdoor stuff for me. Should be OK.

P.S. Steelers gonna beat up those Giants tonight.

Coach Tomlin said he does not "play to win" in the pre-season, just evaluate.Lol. Yeah right. So long as the Giants O line holds up, you guys are in trouble! We added a ton of talent this off-season.

I can't tell you how excited I am for football season to get started. No other league comes close to that level of entertainment.

There's more to outdoor screen visibility than just brightness.Samsung has the brightest screens right now so outdoor viewing will be great on the Note 4.
Outdoor viewing is very poor. The screen looks even more grayed out than it does indoors and you see your reflection in the screen instead of what's inside the screen.
Agreed in terms of most phones not being excellent in sunlight, but some are better than others and some are good enough.I get I new phone every year and I can't remember one that I would consider good in sunlight. The G3 is above average.
