OK - this isn't one of those 'I hate my battery life' threads...
In fact, after the first couple of days - where it was very up and down - my battery life has been very good. Usually 30% left after 16-17hrs off the charger with average use.
However, I have noticed that, when I use the camera, the battery drops are massive.
I know that using a camera on all devices is clearly going to impact on battery use, but, to trial it, I took 20 shots on auto yesterday at 81%. I checked the G4 5 mins after, and it had dropped to 76%.
I'm not snap-junkie. I take the odd picture here and there, but I was at a wedding recently using my now dead Z3, and took over 200 photos an, although this used battery, it certainly wasn't as much as the G4. I was maybe 20% down on my usual % by 11pm. 200 shots on the G4 at the percentage above is 50% of the battery.
What are others experiences of battery life using the G4 camera?
