Pixel xl. Very happy. Averaging 20 hours and 6-1/2 sot.

Just shy of 48 hours at the moment with 49% left. Medium use, decent amount of standby. So far it's at least as good as the 6P if not better (XL here).

Both the 6P as well as the pixel xl have a 3450 mAh batteries so expect them to be having quite similar battery lifes on paper
Although read an article recently where they compared the two phones
Turned out the 6P did a way better job

I only look at it as how much is consistently left after I am done with it for the day. So far I am getting better percent left then the note7. During the week I am not much of a screen hog, but I do use the phone for pandora and calls. So at the end of the day I have had somewhere between 55-65%. with the note7 it was 35-45. Thats with probably 2 hours sot. I keep all settings on. full screen qhd, probably 60-70% bright but I am in the sunlight often so the adjust it pushed up, gps and bluetooth are on. All google assistant setting are active. Gmail is behind doze.

The funny thing, and at this point I give the phone credit and then take it away, this is all with terrible signal. I am rarely over -100. usually sitting in the -110 to -119. So yeah for the phone not destroying the battery for constantly fighting for signal, but BOOOO for having terrible signal.

Do you consistently get 15 minutes SOT per 1%? Or is this only at 100%?

It's my first FULL day with the Pixel. It was about 50/50 wifi vs cellular data.

Your Battery Life Experience

Just wanted to see if everyone else was having the same great experience with battery life as I am. My Pixel XL gets unplugged each day at 7:00 AM, use it heavily all day (videos, calls, texting) and I go to bed at around 11:00 with about 20-25%. WAY better than the battery life of the 6P!

Without citing any stats, I can say that I'm seeing about the same battery life on my 5 inch Pixel as I was seeing on my 6p. It's off the charger at 4 or 5 am, i use it throughout the day for work, news, and podcasts, and by 9 pm or so I'm typically down to about 20%. Like any other phone I've ever owned, I charge it once a day under normal usage. Use it heavily, (playing games and the like), and I need to top it up mid day.

Is there a way to view that other than this graph? I've had the phone since Saturday afternoon so it's really only been three days. I'm on AT&T using the unlocked Pixel XL from Google.

Go back one screen and tap on the "Screen" line and that will tell you. This will only show you the current "day." But keeping an eye on it can give you an idea of how things go. I only charged up to about 80% so my SoT was likely impacted by the heavy amount of set-up time with app install and updates and such.

I sure am. 18 hours of battery life and 5.5 hours of screen on time! Cool.
