How's your Nexus 7 2012 aging?

My Nexus 7 2012 is extremely slow and almost unusable. How's yours?

I did. But even on KK it was pretty bad.

Not too shabby, but not my daily tablet anymore. My 21 month old granddaughter uses it mostly for YouTube Kids and some interactive Dr. Seuss books. And the camera. She loves taking selfies...

I noticed a lot of lag on kk, but L made it unusable to the point where it almost went flying a couple of times.

I just flashed stock kk to it this morning and it's come back to life. We'll see for just how long.

Probably already mentioned but I would delete Facebook since that causes a lot of problems with the 2012 model.

Yeh I had a lot of issued with Facebook when it was installed.

I use mine occasionally, but recently flashed the factory 5.1.1 image and it's working pretty sweet at this point. About the only time I use it is to watch a movie, but it still seems to be working fine.

Very well, but I bought it used as a PlayBook replacement. XenonHD (custom 5.1.1 rom) makes it fly.

5.1.1 factory image was a huge improvement. It's not my main tablet, but I use mine for things reading Kindle books and Twitter and it's a good experience still.

tried a few custom roms on mine, finally plumped for slim kat, makes it fast like it was when I bought it

Slimcat plus f2fs file system, good as new. Should gave come like this.
