How's your screen protector holding up? (Original and/or 3rd party)

After two weeks without a screen protector, things are looking pretty good. No scratches or belmishes. Much easier to keep free of fingerprints as well.

Awesome. I may rip mine off this weekend since the fingerprints are driving me nuts.

I just installed the Supershieldz and love it.... it comes with 2 screen protectors. after a first failed attempt, dust!!! i remembered that shower trick ive used in the past. turned it on hot, waited for the steam to build, and away i went. i small spot right where the huawii logo is but other then that, perfect. defiently feels good to the touch with way less fingerprints. it seems I got a good edge stick but will update as the days/weeks go by. i installed with the case on as to get an even install.

I had my note 4 about about 2 years and it survived several drops. the phone survived but the screen protecter cracked every time. i believe it takes the impact and saves the glass on the phone... so for me, i can never go without. anyhow. for 7-8 bucks this protector has found a home :)........

It's these stupid 2.5 curved edge screens. I see LG is using some sense and keeping the G6 screen completely flat. That alone makes me interested in getting it.

I don't think that's it when it comes to films. The film protector I bought (and the OEM one) both fit fine. It's the quality of the film that is terrible.

I've got a 4 pack ready to install but I'm concerned they won't work and once I remove the factory one there's no going back

Thanks!!!! (I clicked the "heart" which I think means LIKE now but ... it's felt kind of silly)

Ok... I do have a follow up quesiton. Someone complained about it not registering touch well and not sticking well to the screen. Are you experiencing that?

Nope not at all..... i'm 100% happy with this protector.

I just pulled the cheap, useless screen protector off (the one I bought on Amazon). It was nicked up and greasy.

I'm going naked. I have never had a phone that I didn't have a screen protector on. I think this one only has Gorilla Glass 3? I'm just going to go for it.

When I'm off to Africa, I'll slap on one of the cheap, crappy protectors I have left just to afford it some protection in the atypical environment I'll be in.

Let's see if it actually gets scratched in my everyday life...

Be sure to let us know!

The factory screen protector on my mine is starting to lift.
I'm typically the normal careful device owner.

I like to keep my devices in factory condition if possible, yet screen covers aren't a preference for me.
I'm a bit fearful to pull the protector off because I can't tell if the phone has tough glass under the Huawei installed screen protector.

Update:
Reading thru the other thread helped.
I pulled the film off and it's like a new phone Lol...

Purchased a mate 9 which came with a glass protector which had lifted all the way round the edges.

I read multiple feedback on xda and firstly tried the pzoz from aliexpress. That came with a little brush and oil which you put around the edge and it seemed to cover all the gaps and looked pretty good. This lasted a week or so though before lifting.

I now have the brotect air glass which went on ok and as slightly smaller so no lifting so far. Been on for a couple of weeks, is a really thin glass protector and feels good. I have a nillkin nature tpu cover and I think it looks fine.

If this lifts I'm going bare! My previous phone was a nexus 6. Never had any case or protector and used the phone as I needed and it held up pretty well. Minor scuffs barely noticeable when the screen was off after over a year of heavy use.

I have a glass screen protector and it is peeling up at the edges a little bit. Not enough that I can't live with it. But it doesn't fit perfectly unfortunately.

Problem could be the screen protector. I've had a couple on other phones were the screen protector just didn't stick around the edges. Bought a different kinds and it works just fine
