Mine really stinks good thing i have a motorola. Eq5. I just wish i could get a phone that takes a beating lol think i went thru 6 storms 3 incredibles now 1 X

yeah the speaker is definitely one of the few "misses" with the Droid X....

Mine works fine. Currently listening to the LAPD police scanner and its coming through loud and clear.

My only complaint about this phone is the speaker. Hopefully something can be done software wise in an update to up the output or something.

Too bad they don't have 2 speakers in them .Be a stereo then . Maybe leave of one of those 3 mics and change it to another speaker lol
