HP Chromebook 14 keyboard not working properly

When I press certain keys, a string of letters and numbers displays? I viewed a video on YouTube about this and followed the advice given. Take apart keyboard and put back together. And I am still having this issue. I even signed in with a different user account and still same thing. Also removed extensions and this is still happening?
Any advice?

Welcome to Android Central! Can you give a few more details about which keys do this, and what kind of character strings appear? Is this Chromebook brand new, or did you get it used or refurbished?

Hi, I bought this brand new 3 years ago. All the keys are messed up??????

Did you already try Powerwashing (which is essentially a complete reset)? https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/183084?hl=en.
