HP is Going to Launch Another Smartphone

This topic is sensitive to me since I was a longtime Palm user. But if at least one good thing could come out of this it would be HP bringing over some of the good ideas from WebOS to Android like cards. Then sink or swim at least that code would be available for the Android community to use.

I am doubtful any kind of device they come out with will be popular though.

I honestly believe that HP is going to have to create a new brand name to get this thing off the ground. When I think HP, I think of printers and servers...but mostly printers.

I don't think this would be a good idea for them... but I can see where they are coming from. HP is losing ground in the PC hardware space and the market is moving into the mobile space. IMO they are trying to get back on that wagon.
