Hey guys I'm new to this forum and I've got one big question. Ive had this tablet for a while and though I'll admit I'd be much happier with an iPad or a Samsung, its not a bad piece of technology. Although I've been fairly happy with it since December, lately I have been trying to root it. I have tried countless methods and tools and frankly I'm getting a little pissed off because none of them are working. I have been up until 4 in the morning now for 3 days and I'm really hoping maybe one of you knows of way to root this thing. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Can anyone recommend a good/durable case for the new hp mesquite?

Buy a nook 7 inch tablet case, it fits fine and will keep it safe. Basically any case that is 7 inches will hold this tablet well. I used the nook case

Hey guys i just joined the forum
I also got this tablet on black friday & the only issue i have is that a few of my apps wont work with 4.1.2

Is there any way to upgrade to a newer version or make the apps work? ie instagram???

Instagram works online! Just go to Instagram.com and you can use it there
