We still remember HP claimed that it's going to discontinue WebOS operation and Touchpad a few days ago, and Touchpad was at sale only for $89. Now, HP announced the Touchpad line will continue. What's really going on? Still $89 for the Touchpad?

The 16gb unit was $99 and the 32gb was $149. As for continuing making them, they are making one (1) last manufacturing run. Rumor is only 100,000 of them. Mostly to fufill all remaining retailer orders. They also said they as only abandoning the WebOS "hardware". Never ever did they say they are abandoning the "software" side of WebOS. They will continue to improve the OS and continue to update us with bug fixes.

It's a very good tablet for only $100 / $150. I like it so much that I may not even put Android on it once it becomes available.

Having a TouchPad and using a friend's Galaxy Tab with 3.0, I can definitely say that webOS got it right. The interface is much more intuitive and the multitasking etc very well thought out. Hopefully by Android 5.0 this will be the case with Android tablets. Only downside to webOS right now is the quantity of apps in the app catalog.
