After a week of using it without a case it feels grippy enough that I'm confident without one. My m8 was like holding onto an ice cube. I dropped it within minutes of unboxing. Feel and grip on the 10 is much improved.

I wish I could feel comfortable carrying around a $500 piece of equipment without a case...but I can't.
I went with the Spigen Neo-Hybrid for my HTC 10.
I used it on my Samsung Galaxy S5, and it was fantastic...even after many drops, my phone still looks (and acts) perfectly new!

I just purchased a two skins from slickwraps. Com. It is my first time trying it. Looks awesome and feels great. Morning an enjoy the feel of the phone as intended and it looks good.

Here's a screenshot from their website if anyone is interested.

It took time to apply. Took me about 20 minutes but once on it came out great.

Planned to go naked. But man this thing is slippery. On my desk it slides all over the place face up or down. Today it slid off my desk after I thought it was safe. Three feet to the floor. Now has a nice small ding in the edge somehow. Case ordered. Lesson learned.

It really is. The same case is $35 on the Spigen site. I wonder if they sell a product that's made cheaper for the low prices on Amazon, like they say manufacturers do for Wal-Mart.

I had planned on going naked after week one went off without a hitch. Week 2 had seen two drops and scuffs on 3 corners. Spigen case is on its way. 9.55 from eBay.

I have had multiple cases on my phone, but I was at work and someone knocks my phone out of my hand (without a case), drops about 3 ft onto a tile floor, and my phone only suffered an abnormally small scratch that you can only see in the right lighting. You honestly don't even need a case on this unless you are just paranoid.

Wish that was true. I'd dropped my M8 innumerous times with nothing more than corner scuffs. The very first time the 10 dropped, on the same floor, the screen cracked badly. My first ever screen break. Thankfully, I was able to use uhoh but I'm going to seek a little more protection.

If you have uhoh, by all means, go without a case. Otherwise, I advise caution.

I have worked with and without a case but I must say, even though the HTC 10 much less slippery than say the HTC A9, a case would certainly help dodge some of those Uh-Oh Protection claims. There are many great options out there but I generally keep coming back to Spigen. Slim Armor is said to work good on the HTC10 but I much prefer the Crystal Shell for a little added grip (Not to mention it shows off the HTC 10 nicely).

Just put a Dbrand carbon fiber on my HTC 10. Looks and feels fantastic and makes the phone lighter, one of my goals, since I had a silicone case on it before and it felt a little heavy. Dbrand ships faster now.

I use cases occasionally. The Spigen Slim Armor with the kickstand is great for watching movies. And I've got a knock-off Iceview for more fomal occasions in a nice tan leather. So I'd say I'm a yay.
