HTC 10 doesn't want to play media after a while of usage, only restarting it helps.

I bought it around a month ago and been having this problem since the very first day. I tried factory resetting, both through settings and recovery, i tried clearing cache. Nothing helped. The phone just won't play any video or audio after some time. Also it becomes impossible to use the camera on the Messenger app at the moment the audio video issues start. it keeps saying "sorry, the camera is probably being used by another app" (loose translation from my language)
What I tried:
factory reset
clearing cache
turning off "ok google"
turning off the stock "camera" app
i read somewhere else on a similar problem that removing google+ updates does the trick, but I don't have google+ installed at all.
disabled all running apps

Phone is updated to the latest android version, only the most basic apps installed. I'd just return it for warranty but that's going to take like two weeks and I'm going to be needing a phone.

Uh oh doesn't take 2 weeks but it does sound defective if you've done all that and the problem still happens
