I just wondered if anyone knows how to display images automatically in hotmail with the HTC 10 instead of having to click display images every time I open a new email. Thanks

Are you using Outlook, Gmail or the web browser?

Hi, thanks for getting back, I just went to "other (pop3/imap) and logged in with my hotmail email address, everything is fine except the display images.

Hi, just deleted that account and signed in with Outlook, it's the same though, no toggle button to show images automatically.

Hmm that's interesting. For me, mail that hits my focused inbox has images that download automatically, using the Outlook app, that is. I looked and I'm not seeing this toggle either. Are you seeing similarly in your "focused inbox" in the app?

No, not with HTC 10, and yes one of my email accounts is a hotmail account used on Outlook. I have done this on three different Android phones (2 on MM, 1 on Lollipop), so I'm pretty sure you should be able to, as well.

I do this: Android for the Windows Guy: Use Your Microsoft Accounts

I do that for contacts and my calendar. You don't have to do that, but I like this so that I can get my hotmail emails only with Outlook.

For some reason, I've always had issues with the HTC Mail app, so I just started using the official Outlook app instead. It works pretty well too. All mail is push, and it's really easy to use.
