I'm considering a move from my iPhone 6S+ to the HTC 10. I had an HTC M8 briefly and returned it due to reception problems. Will I be pleased with the reception on the 10? This is on Verizon. Thanks!

not had a problem on my HTC 10. Did change the wifi to 2.4 rather than 5.0 tho and this helped the range considerably. I also have a 6s and notice the signal is a bit better and the wifi stronger as well as bluetooth on the 6s. The 10 is a solid phone tho and the wifi calling works great so at home where signal is weaker I have no calling concerns. None of my past HTC devices have been kings of signal. But they all were solid performers that never dropped calls.

Thanks guys! I don't use the 5 ghz on my router so that won't be an issue. I'm still debating the 10 or the V20 since they are very close in price on Verizon, but I don't think I'll be disappointed with either phone.

I just returned my V20 to go back to the HTC 10. The V20 was garbage and had a lot of bugs. The HTC 10 is excellent and holds its own with all the new flagship devices. LG has the absolute worst UI of all the manufactures currently. Just my opinion of course. But you won't be disappointed if you choose to buy the HTC.

I switch from 2.4 to 5 on my phone. Mainly so I can get over 100mbps download. I have less of an issue living in an apartment complex. Mainly because everyone else uses 2.4 so there is hardly anyone e using any of the 5.0 bands.

I as well returned the v20 to keep the 10. While it was a good phone there wasn't anything better about it. I agree the lg ui is terrible and I hate on screen buttons. That's just personal preference for myself. Also on Verizon they like to strip features from phones. Check the v20 thread that has the list of everything Verizon decided you don't need on the v20.
