HTC 10 stuck in Download mode with broken Power button

I have a HTC 10 and my power button is broken, I somehow managed to enter download mode. But now I'm in download mode, unable to select anything as the button is broken. I can only go up and down the options with my volume buttons. How can I reboot my phone?

The best option,if possible,is to remove and again place the battery.
But if not,try to make the power button work somehow.
I read somewhere that you can use a fork for a broken power button.

If the contacts behind the button are visible, just short them for a tap, short them for a few seconds for a long-press and short them until the phone restarts to restart.

But then back the entire phone up (see Backing up an Android Device) and take it into a repair shop to get it fixed.

i am having the same issue - do you know exactly which contacts to short? if i do the wrong ones, won't it fry my phone?

i have replaced my battery and power flex cable, and now my power button is not working!
