So I recently got my phone replaced through HTC Advantage and about two or so days after receiving it, I noticed a dent/chip on the side. I tried contacting them about it to get a replacement for the replacement but they denied service claiming that they won't do anything about damaged replacements 24 hours after the phone was received. Since I noticed it too late they won't do anything about it...

Unfortuneatly that's the risk you run with choosing to receive a refurbished phone. I sent mine in for my one free screen replacement and chose the option for them to fix my original phone and return it to me. Therefore, I was aware of any scratches etc already present on my phone an could tell which (if any) were new. I had nothing but a good experience. Although, it does stink that they won't even consider helping you out considering you received your replacement only a couple days ago, but I understand their policy.
 
Rules are rules sadly. An exception would've been nice but oh well.
