HTC and LG

The sheer wasted space on the M8 is annoying (huge phone for a 5in screen), but the software is the best next to stock android. The lag and stuttering on the G3 was rather surprising. I kicked on Dev options and lowered the scales to .5 and that helped a minor amount.

Sent my M8 back. Beautiful build, no doubt, but a bit too small for me...too narrow, like an iP 5. And that camera just sucks.

G3 size just right for me. M8 ran a bit smoother. G3 has spots where scrolling thru menus is not fluid...you have to keep "pushing"with your finger. My M8 was unlocked Developer. My AT&T is loaded with crap like a stinky diaper. Plus they killed the FM radio.

Plastic housing not as good as M8 aluminum of course, but not as bad as you'd think. G3 roughly a hundred cheaper.

Interesting. Swapped my M8 out for a G3 today through Verizon. I agree with most of your notes but I never thought the camera was all that bad in fact I found it pretty impressive. I switched to ART and the snappiness off the UI has been very comparable to sense. Loved the M8 but the form factor of the G3 is too good to pass up. Got the G3 for $99.99
