HTC Bolt Display won't turn on

I have a fully charged battery and I decided to restart my phone, but it never came back on. Holding power button does nothing. The bottom buttons still light up so I think the phone is on, but there is no display....

Welcome to the forums. If you recently got this phone I would take it in for an exchange. This may be a hardware issue.

I'm on my second phone, the first lasted a month.... This one's already starting to black out at random.

I realize this is an old thread, but, does anyone reading this have a strategy for those unfortunates who bought a Sprint "exclusive" HTC Bolt, which no longer works? There seem to be a significant number of people experiencing this same issue, still, in August 2017. HTC isn't very good at the repairs process it seems, and Sprint hasn't been able, as far as I cn tell, to light any fires for customers.

I'm curious who is still selling the HTC Bolt, and why someone would agree to lease or buy it.

My screen will randomly shutoff. I have tried every troubleshooting procedure available and nothing works.

The next step is to send it back to HTC, but there support looks lackluster. Anyone send there BOLT back and get a refund of sorts from HTC?
