I've said many times that HTC devices cannot handle night recording well and how low the frame rate is. Every comparison review I've seen ALL ignored one obvious difference with the HTCs video recording. They focus so much on FPS that they omit the exposure compenstation and color accuracy. HTC is the ONLY one to get the exposure/metering and color accuracy correct. See for yourself (I have no problem being proven wrong). These were taken from Phone Arena's video comparison with the iPhone5, S3, Nokia, and HOX.

I'm sure if they didn't adjust the exposure so much, they could achieve the same frame rate as the others. However I wonder if increasing the bit rate could give the best of both worlds (since increasing exposure compensation results in larger file size)?
