Htc ces ?

I was unimpressed by Verizon's conference. I'm hoping they announce better phones at the Mobile World Congress next month...definitely saw nothing that could convince me to trade up my Incredible (eligible in 2 weeks). The Thunderbolt is most likely too big for me and the display is SLCD.

Dear HTC: Where the hell is your Super AMOLED display?!

I'm going to be keeping my Inc for the next HTC which I'm hoping will have all the goodies.

HTC learned its lesson with the Incredible. Since Samsung manufactures the AMOLED displays, the Incredible was severely backed up due to the shortage of AMOLED screens. I guess they don't want that happening again with the Thunderbolt.

I'm sticking with my Dinc for a while as well (not that I would have switched anyway). There's nothing out there to really entice me away, and I shouldn't switch until my current 2 year contract expires anyway, since I need to get off of my parents' plan (I will graduate from college in May and last renewed my contract back in July when I got my Dinc). By then my Dinc will start feeling really dated, so it'll be time for a new phone. I'm fine with it feeling just slightly dated.

I'd like to see HTC get some dual-core Snapdragon action or do something with the Tegra 2 (unlikely). We are gonna have to wait for MWC though.

I really, really hope Verizon/HTC debuts something better than what they had earlier this week. I'm debating jumping ship to the iPhone, despite my extreme hatred for Steve Jobs.
