htc clock just showing "current location"

hey guys.. updated to froyo 2.2 (offical update), now my htc clock widget just shows "current location"... but before update, it always showed my current location. And all my settings havent changed since before the update.

any help would be greatly appreciated..!

this happens on my Evo too.i wish i could find the reason why. anybody have a clue?

Try opening the internet browser. If it doesn't open or you get an error screen, it may be that your data connection has left you. Turn it off, pull the battery and see if it comes back. This happened to my phone after the update. Every couple hours I would have to turn it off and back on to get my data connection back. If that is your issue, I fixed it by doing a factory reset. Make sure you save your apps and settings with mybackup pro first, and re download the app and select restore. If this doesn't fix your issue... I don't know what to tell you...

in the accounts & sync settings menu, make sure weather is set to sync. this fixed the problem for me...

I had this problem as well resolved it by checking enabling all of my gps settings

I had a few quirky things like this. I too had to do a factory reset, and it cleared it up.

My wife's DInc, only 2 days old, got Froyo within an hour and has had no issues.

I'm thinking there are cache conflicts between 2.1 and 2.2.
