Today I noticed that my phone is giving me the local weather update for kaisiadorys lithuania. Any ideas on how I can get my widget back to the states? :-)

I'm going to answer my own question. I happened to instal LTE onoff today, so I just changed it back to CDMA + LTE/EvDo auto and I'm back in America!

Interesting... I've seen a few of these posts... and most people blame their GPS.

i've seen this on my Tbolt several times upon waking the phone up or switching from wifi to network or back. Each time (4 or 5?) it has placed the location at some bizarrely named foreign country. Most instances it was a quick tap on "current location" in the weather widget and i think i refreshed? when i'd go back to the home page it showed the correct location.

I was in Idaho Falls for the weekend, and it thought I was in Santa Fe, NM the whole time. It drove me crazy. And then I was on the airplane, and put it in airplane mode. I got bumped off the plane, so when I turned off airplane mode and left airport, I was now in Boston! Anyone know why it does this, or is there a fix for this. This was the 1st time I had traveled to a different state besides Las Vegas, and it was ok in Vegas!
