Android Central Question
My HTC Desire Eye was working fine all day yesterday. I put it on charge at night and when I came back to it, the phone was lagging a lot, like 5 seconds to respond to any tap. It didn't matter what I was doing, it would take that long to respond to any simple tap. I tried restarting, clearing the cache, and resetting to factory defaults still did it. The phone had been original stock up to that point. Today, I figured I might as well try rooting it since it's out of warranty and I was out of options. I rooted to Nougat. The phone was working great again. I was happy except I had to put it on charge again. I noticed the phone restarted on its own when the battery reached 85%. And the lagging came back. Again, nothing seems to get it back to normal. Any suggestions?
