HTC Emblem went off...

Hey Guys,
from the Back of my HTC One, the Letter C came off.I was in Holiday, is was hot and the glue melted.





Another User had the same Problem, but he ripped of all of the Letters. And his underneath is clean, mine has got the line in the Middle of the Letter.

Do you know why mine has a Line and the other one dont?

maybe the line is the glue and the other person might have cleaned it off???

Use some acetone with a soft clean cloth. That glue will come right off. Then I would work on the others. I like the indention better in my opinion.

Yeah but this was not my Question.

It's just glue that holds the letter in place. With the other guy, either the glue came off with the letters or he cleaned them off. But that's all it is....glue.

Is the line actually raised? Or is it indented into the metal on yours?

The line is not raised, it is intended

Factory defect, pure and simple. The laser worked a little over time on yours.

laser defect they are not.. I have the same issue, C on HTC came off.

The ridge lines are there so the glue can seep in, creating extra surface to stick to. This is intentional, but evidently was not effective enough as ours came off.
The guy with smooth indentation IS the defective one, as far as the indentation is concerned. The glue is another matter
