HTC EVO 3D - Android update to 4.3 or at least 4.2?

I have a HTC EVO 3D from Virgin Mobile on Android 4.0.3. Is there any hope of Virgin ever pushing out a OTA Android update to 4.2/4.3 or is this officially an abandoned phone now? Very frustrating, this is one of the things I like least about the Android ecosystem as compared to Apple.
