So I'm trying to fix a friends phone so when I started I had no past knowledge of HTC's. At first when he got it I believe it had been rooted because was hooked up for metroPCS and it is a Sprint phone, so to start the partition had been wiped so it had no OS on it, I tried installing a custom rom but all it would do is turn on vibrate once and stay on the white HTC screen. From there I used fastboot to install the boot image, now when I install a custom rom sometimes it will get past the HTC screen and sometimes it wont depending on the rom, I don't know why some work and some dont but all the ones that work get stuck loading the rom so from there it freezes, reboots to white HTC screen, loads up, freezes, etc, etc,. So what do I need to do to get it to stop loop booting? I have tried looking around and some people said a few things like is S-Off or S-On, it's S-On, I cant get to S-Off because of the loop is preventing me from connecting to the PC to run anything. Please any help will do and I will try and keep anyone helping out updated.
