htc evo 4G - Google Now Launcher

i own a HTC EVO 4G phone.
My Android version is 2.3.5. Google Now Launcher requires 4.1 or better.
Can I upgrade my Android version on my phone?

No. Not via official means. Plus that phone is ancient by technological view points. I can't even be sure if it can run Google Now Launcher on the hardware that it's got.
