HTC EVO 4G LTE Packs Secret 3G Feature

Basically they're saying that opposed to the original HTC's (as well as other CDMA phones I imagine) that even without LTE, the 4G LTE allows users to talk while using 3G data services at the same time.

Can anyone confirm?

Yes its true, and I've found 3G is faster on this phone as well

Just tried loading AC while on a call over 3G. It works!

When you make a call, the 3G icon doesn't disappear like it used to.

I'm in Orange County, CA. Location might play a part in this. I heard the tower has to support it.

Loving that feature, but it's actually more of a "secret CDMA feature" than a "secret 3G" feature.

I saw this on XDA. It is called SVDO.
