HTC evo 4g Will not power up

I have an HTC evo 4g 3d, I purchased it used,worked great but was only able to use for 8 hours, then acted like battery died, bought new battery and still will not charge or power up, the charge light comes on for about 30 seconds then goes off, every once in a while it will start flashing

Does the new battery charge up if you keep the phone plugged into wall outlet for at least 6 hours, undisturbed?

no the new battery isnt charging either,but cant tell fore sure

Have you already tried a different charging cable/plug? If that doesn't work, then it's probably a hardware problem, which could be the charging port, the Power button, or the motherboard -- you'd have to take it to a repair shop to find out.
