HTC evo or Nexus S?

Ok, I know most of you will probably say Nexus S (esp if you own one), but I want to know, for people who have had the chance to use both the HTC evo and Nexus S, which one do you prefer? I just got a HTC Evo 4G as a gift, and was told I have 30 days to swap it out for a different phone if I wanted to. I'm pretty happy with the evo, but since it wouldn't cost me any extra to get the Nexus S, I was wondering if it was worth the switch?

Sorry I posted this on both forums, wanted to get as many opinions as I can. Just got the phone a few days ago, so it's still fresh.

If you want root, Nexus S. Its a more recent phone and you can do whatever you want with it. But if that's not what you want, sense is great, and the Evo is a great phone, though a Tad outdated. Have you considered the Photon, or possibly waiting for the Galaxy SII?

he only has 30days to swap and the nexus wont cost any extra. Now, if you want pure android and a smoother device with a slightly smaller screen, then go with the nexus s. I have the evo and I love it! But when the time comes I'm getting the nexus 3 (prime)

I love both phones. I like the kickstands, screen size, and HDMI out for the EVO. But the Nexus s is absolutely perfect to me. Couldn't have chosen a better phone.
