HTC Hero mods...after the OFFICIAL Update Release

Alright...for everyone who patiently waited for 2.1 to come to the HTC Hero, did anyone have a chance to really play around with it...I just want to get two things on my phone...
1) Flash Player...I havent found any good info for even when it had 1.5 android on it...or if not, is it possible to make it think its an actual Nexus One so you could just download flash from Adobe with no problems...
2) Live wallpaper...like many who have downloaded live wallpaper apps from the market place...none of them work on the Hero...anyone know any possible mods to make them function correctly.

hmmm... these are some confusing questions to try to tackle due to the way you worded them.

1. The hero came with Flash Lite on it even with 1.5. I do not think there are any changes to Flash on the official 2.1 update. Adobe/Sprint/HTC (whoever the powers that be that decided) are not going to support Flash 10.1 on the Hero due to its lack of RAM and processing muscle. You are going to need a rooted phone to get it anyways it looks like.

2. I have not played with an official 2.1 Hero ROM yet, but I know with the dev ROM's that the live wallpapers that are based on OpenGL do not play very nicely. Again, if you root your phone you can get it all sorted, though.
