HTC Hero (Seious battery problems)

Hi Everyone,

I've had a HTC Hero for a few weeks now, and I must say I love it. However over the past few days it has developed a problem with the battery, it seems to only hold a full charge for approx. 6/7 hours then completely dies. I had a look on my t-mobile account today and found that it had been sending 'packets' (not sure if that?s the right term) of data at very regular intervals (approx. 20mb in size) for the last few days. On seeing this I did a factory reset and I'm hoping that's cured the problem. It's currently charging now... So we'll soon see...

If I haven't solved the problem, is there anything else that you can suggest?

Have you installed any new programs that may have been the source of the issue?

Yeh I have, but after the factory reset, that should have gotten rid of it...

Just looked at my t-mobile account and it's still sending/recieving data...

Also taking an age to charge because of this problem...

... just put it in airplane mode...
