My 3D is deactivated but i still keep it up to date on WiFi and im not able to connect to HTC Hub either.
But i can still connect to the Watch application.

I'm thinking they are either going to update sooner or later or it's just not going to work anymore. But I can't get any more skins.

I have not been able to connect since the update either. I finally decided to do a factory reset today.

After the reset, I can connect to the HTC Hub.
