HTC Incredible cursor issue?

So.....just got my Incredible yesterday. It's been fine until about 3 hours ago, I was trying to type a text message, and while I was typing, the cursor kept jumping to the "SEND" button, or up to a few texts prior to the one I was typing. Very odd.

This would also happen when sending an email, or in a twitter app.

Then.....when I was on the homescreen, it kept swiping from homescreen to homescreen...by itself. My hand was nowhere near the screen.

Anyone else having this issue?

I don't even have mine yet, but I have read this a couple times from others on various boards.

mine seems to be fine, but i read about someone's phone changing home screens by itself

maybe an over sensitive trackpad is to blame...

I do have a screen protector on too, so I wonder if the screen is overly sensitive. Very strange. I'll keep an eye on it this weekend. It's possessed.

Mine just started doing something similar... my screen is scrolling left non-stop. It started in the middle of typing text - it kept scrolling the cursor to the far left of the word. I fought with it for a minute or so, then decided I'd back out and try again.

When I backed out, I noticed it keeps scrolling my home screen all the way to the left, uncontrollably, so I am stuck on the far left screen.

Any thoughts here? I still have the default factory cover on the phone, believe it or not - waiting until my pouch comes in for the device to take it off...

I've been having similar issues, actually. Sometimes the screen will seem to just... not respond? Even when I'm not having my hand near the track ball.

But I've been having other little issues, like trying to type Q but the keyboard (in portrait) will NOT recognize it, or just type W instead.
