anyone excited to finally see real upload speeds on the Great Inspire.

i get real good download speeds. 3mbps with 200 ping, but the upload speed was not working out. slow uploads to dropbox and sending pictures to facebook and flick took forever.

I posted the same message last night in the "getting the truth about 4G" thread. Where did you hear it? I wonder if we saw it in the same place.

i actually saw a whole bunch of websites that said that. im surprised that HTC is taking the initiative to fix the problem rather than att.

i havent read anything that states on how you would get it.

but the inspire has an update option under att software update. check on that every now and then.

look for the update on google with results showing from the previous 24 hours.

HTC forum moderator stated that it will be a ROM update from HTC. Don't know if that's correct, but it's the only place I've seen saying how it will be updated.

Every android update I have had has been pushed out OTA. You will have a notification probably that sais an update is available for your phone. Now the question I really have is will it take away my root?

Yeah, let's hope it's early April. If I know AT&T, I wouldn't be surprised if it's April 30th.:P
